Are you a new parent looking for guidance during this new chapter in your life? Do you have a child with special needs, and are you looking to strengthen your own mental health by learning some healthy coping strategies of your own? Perhaps you’re the parent of a kid or teen that is going through a difficult time. I work with a variety of different clients and am well-equipped to guide you through your challenges in life.
I am a Registered Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW #73028) specializing in child, adolescent, and family therapy. I currently work under the supervision of Ariel Cohen, LMFT (#89828). My approach includes a blend of understanding the root causes for our emotions and actions while also providing helpful strategies to implement in your everyday life. I utilize a blend of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), attachment theory, and play therapy. My philosophy is that no two clients are the same, so my approach to treatment should suit you.
Finding the right therapist to address your unique challenges can be a difficult and stressful process. I truly believe that a genuine connection between a therapist and client is the most important factor in a therapeutic relationship. I work hard to build a strong alliance with my clients through empathy, positive regard, and by creating a safe space.
